Nano is positioning itself to become a world leader in Micro-invasive needle videoscopy. This direct visualization technology will be easily applied in an office setting and, in the years to come, may very well supplant much of the arthroscopic and imaging technology currently used.
For the Orthopedic and Sports Medicine world, the NanoScope will usher in a new era for Arthroscopic procedures and will make the diagnosis and treatment of many orthopedic conditions much faster and less invasive. The NanoScope and accessory microtools will lead the way for the Microinvasive Percutaneous Surgical Revolution.
How We Got Started
Sam Ochi, a Microelectronic Engineer from Silicon Valley, met Dr. Mark Walter, M.D. in 2015. Sam’s wife was undergoing stem cell therapy with Dr. Walter. While examining Mrs. Ochi, Dr. Walter remarked how great it would be if he could directly visualize orthopedic structures through the tip of a needle. When Sam responded that he could build such a device, Dr. Walter immediately suggested that they do so. Nanosurgery Technology was born and the rest is history.
